Classic Cadillac Transmission Mounts
For all Cadillac models from 1941-1976, transmission mounts can get worn down and rusted over time. We have a great selection of rear transmission mounts for classic Cadillac models, both NOS and remanufactured, to keep your ride as smooth as possible.
When Do I Need A New Transmission Mount?
The most tell tale signs of a bad transmission mount are audible ones–clanging, thumping, and banging sounds as you drive could be because the shifting transmission is not being held securely by the transmission mount. You might also find that you’re having difficulty turning since the transmission shifting in place causes a weight imbalance.
